How to Generate MLM Leads Cost Effectively

When you started your new stay-at-home business, you were probably happy and enthusiastic about the chance to make money right in your own home. You would be able to spend more time with your family while making an additional income and the possibility that the future money from this MLM plan would be there as long as you lived.

But within a very short period of time, you alienated your friends and family, you spent money with little or no results, you hung flyers, talked to people at parties and what was fun now was expensive, and made you the person to avoid at Thanksgiving.

What happened here? You did everything you were supposed to do, attended seminars and events and you have a great product. You were eager to tell friends what you had and you thought everyone would want it. But you are still spending more than you make.

You may want to reconsider your tactics before you quit. The technology of today offers other ways to generate leads that cost less and often are more effective.

You may not have pursued these methods yet, so give them a try:

Events Networking

As unemployment rates climb more individuals are searching for a way to make money. They are more open-minded about listening to your plan. Check out your area on the internet and find networking events so you can meet these people. Most neighborhoods have events like these nearly every week " people come to sell something or to find a job. Become friendly with the people who attend and find out how you can assist them before you hold up your product or service as their great opportunity. Chances are you will succeed in an association that is built on friendliness and helpfulness and that will increase your opportunities. Dont try to oversell your product.

Internet Social Networks

You can expand your business by using social networking sites on the internet in the same way you use local events. This is a rapidly expanding part of the internet, so lots of people are joining. Behave in the same way you would if you were talking to the person at a local event " be friendly and helpful before you jump in with your pitch. If they think you are just an MLMer wanting to sell something they will be gone in a flash. It will be more enjoyable for you, too, if you spend the extra time to get to know someone. They will eventually bite if you earn their confidence and esteem and they can see how the business would benefit them, too.

Other Internet Tools

Using other internet tools to increase your list of prospects without spending money can sometimes even help you make money from the tools themselves. Webinars and eBooks are two examples that will attract people to your business and put money in your pocket as well. This kind of marketing is called attraction marketing. Use the same methods as written up in the two paragraphs above, be friendly and offer aid before you ask for money. Once you've gotten a persons trust and interest and they recognize you are not trying to just barge in asking for money, you can broach the subject of your business and get them on board.

So here are 3 methods that can increase your lead flow if you take the time to learn more about them. But the key in all 3 examples is to build a relationship first, if you add value, and are perceived as someone who is willing to give at least as much as they get and preferably more, then your will dramatically improve your chances for success.
