By Sally Webb

Normally women ask this question when she is still dealing with the emotional attachment to some one who she has just broken up with, or someone who she has just started dating whom after few dates decides to go missing. You'd probably need to read this article if you want to know how to forget someone you still really like whether you pretty much just get dumped, feel like you've lost someone, or just had the courage to leave someone you knew wasn't even right for you in the long run.

Here are some steps you can do:

1. Cry it out. You need to cry out things like this, and don't feel embarassed especially if you are doing it behind closed doors.

2. Get busy. For some of you getting busy means organising your weeks so that there is no time window for yourself, for some others getting busy means having a lot of physical me time. See which one works for you and do it.

3. Ask for some good friends' company. It is time to give them a call and catch up after all.

4. Go cold turkey without contact with that person. Delete his number off your phone and delete him off your facebook friends list or your msn buddy list.

5. Go out and mingle with new people. If you want, try speed dating or single events as this will likely take things off your mind.

6. Try to avoid watching too many romantic soapy movies especially on Saturday nights when you normally watch it with him. Watch something like "Borat" with your friends instead.

7. Don't forget to take shower.

8. Finally, the never-fail answer to how to forget someone you still really like is to give it time. Time heals everything no matter how hard it is right now.
